About Pfister Energy

Changing the Way Energy is
Generated and Delivered

OUR APPROACH

Energy projects work better when responsibility stays connected.

Pfister Energy was built on the belief that a company developing an energy project should also understand how to build and support it long term.

Energy projects often move between various service providers — creating gaps across development,  financial planning, engineering, construction, and system management.

We bring those responsibilities together under one roof, giving our customers a single accountable team across every phase of their project.

OUR STORY

Origins in commercial construction.
Built for the future of onsite energy.

Pfister Energy traces its roots to Pfisterer Roofing, founded in 1982 as a commercial roofing contractor in New Jersey.

Decades spent working on commercial and industrial buildings shaped a practical understanding of how facilities operate, how projects succeed in the field, and why accountability matters long after construction is complete.

In 2005, Wayne Pfister founded Pfister Energy to apply the same construction discipline and long-term accountability to the emerging renewable energy industry, years before commercial solar entered the mainstream.

What began with solar evolved into a broader onsite energy portfolio, including battery storage, EV charging, microgrids, and long-term asset management.

Today, Pfister Energy has delivered more than 900 MW of projects across commercial, industrial, institutional, and utility-scale applications nationwide.

THE ENERGY MARKET HAS CHANGED

Businesses need more control over how energy is generated and delivered.

Rising energy costs, grid instability, electrification, and growing operational demands are changing how organizations think about energy.

On-site and distributed energy is no longer simply a sustainability initiative. It has become a strategy for controlling costs, improving resilience, and supporting long-term stability and growth.

Pfister Energy helps organizations evaluate and implement technologies and financing structures based on what best supports their operational and financial goals.
