
Junior Project Manager

We are a national developer and EPC of turnkey renewable energy, energy efficiency, and on-site distributed power generation systems, with over 500 megawatts (MW) of solar electric power (PV) installed in the United States. Pfister Energy provides in-house project development, engineering, pre-construction, project management, installation, system commissioning, and operations/maintenance.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities
Provide overall support to the project management team including but not limited to:
- Maintain tracking logs for material and equipment purchases.
- Follow-up with vendors on material and equipment deliveries
- Communicate to internal company personnel on order status.
- Schedule and attend weekly project meetings and distribute meeting minutes.
- Attend all meetings with Senior PM; create & distribute meeting minutes.
- Update project schedules in coordination with project managers.
- Build relationships with vendors.
- File permits, track progress, and update project team & clients.
- Maintain submittal logs with subcontractors and clients including requesting and transmitting submittals.
- Compile and review all invoices and change orders from subcontractors; lead weekly review meeting w/ Senior PM.
- Prepare and send weekly reports to clients.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience
- Excellent communication and organizational skills required.
- Communicate via phone/email and follow up with vendors to ensure deliveries are made to construction sites on schedule.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced working environment
- Ability to plan and anticipate potential issues that may impact construction progress.
- Recognize and effectively communicate issues to Senior Management
- Build relationships with vendors.
- A team player with a can-do attitude willing to go above and beyond.
- Motivated to learn and grow in the project management field.
- Associate degree or 2 years related experience in the construction industry with some project management background.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 with strong Excel background
- Experience in Procore and Smartsheets preferred.
