Solar Rooftops
COMMERCIAL SOLAR ROOFTOP INSTALLER
Pfister Energy designs, installs, and maintains commercial solar rooftop energy systems as a commercial solar rooftop installer. We offer several options including stand-alone roofing-integrated solar systems, wall-mount solutions, and ground-mount solutions. We will work with you to determine which solution is the best fit for your building.
Solar energy systems last for 25 years, so when you’re installing a system on your roof you want to make sure that the roofing system selected will be watertight for at least as long as the lifespan of the solar energy system. This helps to avoid the need for removal or replacement of the solar array when the useful life of the roof expires.
To help you reduce your capital expenditure, we will show you how to capitalize on combined solar state and federal incentives. These incentives can save you up to 60% and make your return on investment possible in as short as 2 to 5 years.
Solar Incentives
Solar power protects the environment by using clean, renewable energy
Lower operating costs and become energy independent
Receive federal, state and local government rebates
Reduce energy costs by 75 percent by going solar
traditional
hard panels
Traditional rigid solar panels have high efficiency rates and can convert more of the sun’s energy into electricity.
Hard panels utilize solar tracking which optimizes your system’s electricity production by moving your panels to follow the sun throughout the day.

THIN-FILM
MODULES
Thin-film solar modules are used as semiconductors and are deposited onto a variety of flexible substrates including glass, metal, and plastic. These modules are lightweight and flexible, resulting in less waste generation, making them one of the most environmentally friendly PV technologies.
Integrated
panels
Integrated solar panels are also referred to as in-roof solar panels. This type of system is comprised of thin-film solar laminates that are integrated with the roof, i.e. they replace a section of the roof with no tiles underneath. In the case where a new roof is warranted, a solar-integrated roofing system can be the best choice for PV.

Hybrid solar
collectors
Photovoltaic thermal collectors (PVT collectors) are also known as hybrid solar collectors. This system uses a combination of PV solar cells, which convert sunlight into electricity, with a solar thermal collector. The solar thermal collector transfers the otherwise unused waste heat from the PV module to a heat transfer liquid, which allows this technology to reach a higher efficiency than solar PV and solar thermal alone.
